Mary Elizabeth Tembey

Mary Elizabeth was born in December 1879 in Flimby, Cumberland. Mary Elizabeth's father was Samuel Tembey and her mother was Catherine Ann Highmore. Her paternal grandparents were Christopher Tembey and Mary Ann Moyle; her maternal grandparents are Thomas Highmore and Mary Tunstall. She had eight brothers and three sisters, named Thomas Lambert, William Highmore, Christopher, Samuel, Nicholas, John, Robert Henry, Joseph Highmore, Isabella Ostle, Sarah Alice and Catherine Ada. She is the second oldest of the twelve children.
