Sarah Alice Tembey

Sarah Alice was born in March 1888 in Cleator Moor, Cumberland. Sarah Alice's father was Samuel Tembey and her mother was Catherine Ann Highmore. Her paternal grandparents were Christopher Tembey and Mary Ann Moyle; her maternal grandparents are Thomas Highmore and Mary Tunstall. She had eight brothers and three sisters, named Thomas Lambert, William Highmore, Christopher, Samuel, Nicholas, John, Robert Henry, Joseph Highmore, Mary Elizabeth, Isabella Ostle and Catherine Ada. She is the sixth oldest of the twelve children.
