Catherine Ada Tembey

Catherine Ada was born in March 1890 in Cleator Moor, Cumberland. Catherine Ada's father was Samuel Tembey and her mother was Catherine Ann Highmore. Her paternal grandparents were Christopher Tembey and Mary Ann Moyle; her maternal grandparents are Thomas Highmore and Mary Tunstall. She had eight brothers and three sisters, named Thomas Lambert, William Highmore, Christopher, Samuel, Nicholas, John, Robert Henry, Joseph Highmore, Mary Elizabeth, Isabella Ostle and Sarah Alice. She is the seventh oldest of the twelve children.
