Male John Tembey

John was born in December 1895 in Cleator Moor, Cumberland and his baptism took place on October 3rd, 1895 in St John's, Cleator Moor, Cumberland.  John's father was Samuel Tembey and his mother was Catherine Ann Highmore.  His paternal grandparents were Christopher Tembey and Mary Ann Moyle; his maternal grandparents are Thomas Highmore and Mary Tunstall.  He had seven brothers and four sisters, named Thomas Lambert, William Highmore, Christopher, Samuel, Nicholas, Robert Henry, Joseph Highmore, Mary Elizabeth, Isabella Ostle, Sarah Alice and Catherine Ada.  He is the tenth oldest of the twelve children.
