Christopher Tembey

Christopher was born on April 12th, 1886 in Cleator Moor, Cumberland. Christopher's father was Samuel Tembey and his mother was Catherine Ann Highmore. His paternal grandparents were Christopher Tembey and Mary Ann Moyle; his maternal grandparents are Thomas Highmore and Mary Tunstall. He had seven brothers and four sisters, named Thomas Lambert, William Highmore, Samuel, Nicholas, John, Robert Henry, Joseph Highmore, Mary Elizabeth, Isabella Ostle, Sarah Alice and Catherine Ada. He is the fifth oldest of the twelve children.
