Jacobjen was born in 1654 in Brakel and her baptism took place there on September 17th, 1654.1 2   Her godfather was Jacob Corneliszn and her godmother was Anna Claesdr. Jacobjen's father was Jacob Janszn Huibertszn van Willigen and her mother was Emmetje Jansdr N.N..  Her paternal grandparents were Jan Huijbertszn van Willigen and Geurtje Jansdr Blanken. She had four brothers and a sister, named Willem Jacobszn, Jan, Huijbert Jacobszn, Gijsbert Jacobszn and Aagje Jacobsdr.  She was the second oldest of the six children. She had four half-brothers and six half-sisters, named Jan Jacobszn, Adriaen Jacobszn, Jan, Hendrick Baijenszn, Anneken, Teuntje Jacobsdr, Anneke Baijensdr, Marijken Baijensdr, Catalijn Baijensdr and Jenneke Baijensdr.
