Anneken was born in 1640 in Brakel and her baptism took place there on June 20th, 1640.1 2  Anneken's father was Jacob Janszn Huibertszn van Willigen and her mother was Neeltje Jansdr N.N..  Her paternal grandparents were Jan Huijbertszn van Willigen and Geurtje Jansdr Blanken. She had three brothers and a sister, named Jan Jacobszn, Adriaen Jacobszn, Jan and Teuntje Jacobsdr.  She was the oldest of the five children. She had four half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Willem Jacobszn, Jan, Huijbert Jacobszn, Gijsbert Jacobszn, Jacobjen and Aagje Jacobsdr.
