David was born in 1869.  David's father was Abraham  Heiser and his mother was Sarah Levy.  His paternal grandparents were Samuel Heiser and <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents were Barnett  (Judah) Levy and Elizabeth Levy. He had seven brothers and five sisters, named Samuel, Michael, Reuben, Harris, Joseph, Solomon, Lewis, Miriam, Julia, Rosa, Betsy and Priscilla.  He was the tenth oldest of the thirteen children.

David's family

David and Rose were married in a religious ceremony on January 3rd, 1894 in Great Synagogue, Dukes Place.1   They had a daughter named Sarah.
