Ann was born on September 12th, 1836.  Ann's father was William Wharin and her mother is Sarah Butterworth.  Her paternal grandparents were Jarvis Wharin and Mary Barber. She had a brother and three sisters, named William, Mary, Sarah and Frances.  She was the fourth oldest of the five children.  She died at the age of 87 on August 27th, 1924.
