Sarah Ellen Turvey

Sarah was born on February 13th, 1826 in London and her christening took place on May 7th, 1826 in Saint Dionis Backchurch, London.¹ Sarah's father was Joseph Turvey and her mother was Ann Kennington. Her paternal grandparents were Solomon Turvey and Ann Willson; her maternal grandparents were John Kenington and Mary . She had four brothers and four sisters, named Joseph, Joseph, John, William, Ann, Elizabeth, Eliza and Fanny. She was the second oldest of the nine children.
