Joseph Turvey

Joseph was born on March 5th, 1829 in Finsbury, Middlesex and his christening took place on October 27th, 1829 in Saint Luke Old Street, Finsbury, London.¹ Joseph's father was Joseph Turvey and his mother was Ann Kennington. His paternal grandparents were Solomon Turvey and Ann Willson; his maternal grandparents were John Kenington and Mary . He had three brothers and five sisters, named Joseph, John, William, Ann, Sarah, Elizabeth, Eliza and Fanny. He was the fourth oldest of the nine children.
