Hannah was born in 1742 in Oakley, Hampshire and her christening took place there on December 27th, 1742.1 2   Hannah's father was William Oliver and her mother was Mary. She had four brothers and four sisters, named William, John, James, Thomas, Mary, Elizabeth, Dinah and Esther.  She was the fifth oldest of the nine children.
