Isaac was born in 1837 in Penzance, Cornwall.1   Isaac's father was Isaac Newton and his mother was Elizabeth Gendall.  His paternal grandparents were William Newton and Frances Drew. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Alexander, Robert, Elizabeth, Fanny and Julia.  He was the youngest of the six children.  He died at the age of 66 in 1903 in Cornwall.1
