Sarah was born in 1828 in Somerset.1   Sarah's father was James Laver and her mother was Angel Cottle. She had a brother and four sisters, named Wiliam, Elizabeth, Mary Ann, Charlotte and Sarah.  She was the third youngest of the six children.  She died at the age of 2 in 1830.
