Sarah was born on July 22nd, 1831 in Creach St Michael, Somerset.1   Sarah's father was James Laver and her mother was Angel Cottle. She had a brother and four sisters, named Wiliam, Elizabeth, Mary Ann, Charlotte and Sarah.  She was the second youngest of the six children.  She died at the age of 31 in December 1862 in Bridgewater, Somerset.2
