Pierre was born on December 27th, 1698 in Luneray, SEINE-MARITIME, France and his christening took place there on September 14th, 1699.1   Pierre's father was Pierre Lardant and his mother was Jeanne du Bosc.  His paternal grandmother was Madeleine Follenfant. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Louis, Jean, Jacques, Elizabeth, Marie, Marguerite and Marie Anne.  He was the oldest of the eight children.  He died at the age of 63 in 1761.1
