Marguerite was born on September 24th, 1702 in Luneray, SEINE-MARITIME, France and her christening took place there on September 24th, 1702.1   Marguerite's father was Pierre Lardant and her mother was Jeanne du Bosc.  Her paternal grandmother was Madeleine Follenfant. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Pierre, Louis, Jean, Jacques, Elizabeth, Marie and Marie Anne.  She was the fourth oldest of the eight children.
