George Kemp

George was born in 1863 in Great Waltham, Essex and his christening took place there on August 2nd, 1863.¹² George's father was Thomas Kemp and his mother was Maria Olley. His paternal grandparents were John Kemp and Elizabeth Bentall; his maternal grandparents were John Olley and Jane Shonk. He had six brothers and three sisters, named William, Thomas, John, Joseph, Frederick, Walter, Margaret, Eliza and Elizabeth. He was the third youngest of the ten children.
