George Horncastle

George was born in December 1901 in Bethnal Green, Middlesex.¹ George's father was John Francis Horncastle and his mother was Emma Elizabeth Webb. His paternal grandparents were Samuel John Horncastle and Elizabeth Howard Richardson. He had three brothers and four sisters, named John, Samuel, Edward, Emma, Caroline, Eliza and Sophia. He was the third oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 38 in 1939 in Stepney, London.²
