Samuel Walter Hayes

Samuel was born in September 1890. Samuel's father was Frederick William Hayes and his mother was Catherine Denhey Houghton. His paternal grandparents were James Thomas Hayes and Elizabeth Penn. He had twelve brothers and four sisters, named William, Joseph, Arthur, Sidney, Stillborn, Reuban, Robert, Stillborn, Ernest, John, Harold, Leslie, Deney, Lilian, Violet and Mabel. He was the sixth oldest of the seventeen children. He died at the age of 49 in 1939.
