Ernest Stanley Hayes

Ernest was born on June 17th, 1896. Ernest's father was Frederick William Hayes and his mother was Catherine Denhey Houghton. His paternal grandparents were James Thomas Hayes and Elizabeth Penn. He had twelve brothers and four sisters, named William, Joseph, Arthur, Sidney, Stillborn, Samuel, Reuban, Robert, Stillborn, John, Harold, Leslie, Deney, Lilian, Violet and Mabel. He was the eighth youngest of the seventeen children. He died at the age of 72 in 1968.
