George Hall

George was born on January 29th, 1879 in Selby, Yorkshire.¹ George's father was William Fairweather Hall and his mother was Ann Ellen Laverack. His paternal grandparents were John Hall and Jane Ann Brown; his maternal grandparents were John Laverack and Mary Adamson. He had two brothers and four sisters, named John, Wilson, Annie, Eva, Ethel and Wilfrid. He was the second oldest of the seven children.
