Richard Merrick Light

Richard Merrick was born in 1908 in Yorkshire.¹ Richard Merrick's father was Frank Light and his mother was Margaret Foster. His paternal grandparents are William Light and Isabella Blenkinsop; his maternal grandparents were John Burnell Foster and Sarah Whitehead. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Rowland Jesse, Jack, Frank Stanley, Alice and Mary. He was the fourth oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 83 in January 1991 in North Yorkshire.¹
