Joseph Harvey

Joseph was born on September 6th, 1829 in Wivenhoe Essex England.¹ Joseph's father was Thomas (Shipbuilder) Harvey and his mother was Mary Elizabeth Martin. His paternal grandparents were Robert Harvey and Susannah Ellingford; his maternal grandparents are <Unknown> and <Unknown>. He had five brothers and a sister, named Thomas, Halifax yard ipswich, Edward, John, Shipwrights Arms West St and Caroline. He was the third oldest of the seven children. He had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named Fred, Mary and Sarah. He died at the age of 1 on January 11th, 1831 in Wivenhoe Essex England. His burial was in St Mary the Virgin Wivenhoe.¹
