Margaret was born on May 26th, 1900 at 14 Haverstock Rd St Pancras.1  Margaret's father was Edmund Robson (Shopboy-Plaster) and her mother was Nelly Sapshead (FrenchPolisher).  Her paternal grandparents were James Edmund  Robson (House Decorator) and Margaret Morrison Purves (b Wooler SERVANT 1891); her maternal grandparents were William Sapshead (Coachman) and Emma Head (of Shoreditch). She had two brothers and two sisters, named Edmund, Ted, Minnie and Rose.  She died at the age of 95 on November 17th, 1995 in Spring Lodge Home Clacton.  The funeral took place at the Weeley Cremetorium Clacton.  She was cremated at the Goose Lane Clacton.

Margaret and William were married in a civil ceremony on September 27th, 1919 in St Pancras Registry Office witnessed by A.F.Cumings  W.A. Sapshead.2  They had two sons and six daughters, named William, Robert, Gladys, Dorothy, Vera, Hilda, Valerie and Janet.
