Edmund was born on March 21st, 1874 at 11 Belmont St St Pancras.1   Edmund's father was James Edmund  Robson (House Decorator) and his mother was Margaret Morrison Purves (b Wooler SERVANT 1891).  His paternal grandfather was James Robson (Mason) and his paternal grandmother is <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents were James Purves (Scotland Farrier) and Eleanor (Ellen) Hume (b Wooler/Berwick). He had four brothers and a sister, named James, John, Robert, Joseph and Ann.  He was the second oldest of the six children.
