John William Turner

John was born on April 19th, 1872 in Linlithgow.¹

John's father was William Turner and his mother was Jessie Calder. His paternal grandparents were Peter Turner Sr. and Mary Russell. He had a brother and seven sisters, named Peter, Ina, Mary, Eliza, Jessie, Jane, Agnes and Eliza. He was the youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 42 in 1914 in Liberton.
