William Towers

William was born on January 17th, 1838 in Paisley Abbey parish.^1 2

William's father was William Tours and his mother was Margaret Colquhoun.  His paternal grandparents were William Tours and Janet Fulton. He had two brothers and six sisters, named John, Walter, Margaret, Janet, Isabella, Cecillia, Elisabeth and Christina.  He was the third oldest of the nine children.  He died due to kidney failure, Nephritis, 6 weeeks, at the age of 80 on February 26th, 1918 in Toronto.  He was buried in Toronto.^3 4
