Margaret's father was William Tours and her mother was Margaret Colquhoun.  Her paternal grandparents were William Tours and Janet Fulton. She had three brothers and five sisters, named William, John, Walter, Janet, Isabella, Cecillia, Elisabeth and Christina.  She was the oldest of the nine children.  She died at the age of 73 on August 27th, 1905 in Bute.  She was buried in Paisley.^3 3
