Margaret Thomson

Margaret was born in 1807 in Bathgate.¹   Margaret's father was James Thomson and her mother was Mary Bruce.  Her maternal grandparents were William Bruce and Janet Newlands. She had five brothers and four sisters, named John, William, George, James, Archibald, Janet, Mary, Catherine and Janet.  She was the fourth youngest of the ten children.  She died due to natural causes or old age, old age, no medical attendant, at the age of 66 on September 5th, 1873 in Paddockhall farm.  She was buried on September 11th, 1873 in Bathgate.^2 3 4
