Catherine Thomson

Catherine was born in 1815 in West Lothian.¹ Catherine's father was James Thomson and her mother was Mary Bruce. Her maternal grandparents were William Bruce and Janet Newlands. She had five brothers and four sisters, named John, William, George, James, Archibald, Janet, Margaret, Mary and Janet. She was the second youngest of the ten children.
