Mary Robertson

Mary was born on April 1st, 1835 in Newton-on-Ayr and her baptism took place there on April 5th, 1835.¹²

Mary's father was George Robertson and her mother was Martha Carlton McGloughlane. Her paternal grandparents were William Robertson and Elspeth Thomson. She had two brothers and eight sisters, named William, John, Margaret, Martha, Agnes, Euphemia, Jane, Charlotte, Catherine and Minnie. She was the fifth oldest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 88 on October 14th, 1923 in New Cumnock. She was buried in New Cumnock.
