Margaret Robertson

Margaret was born in 1827 in Newton-on-Ayr.¹

Margaret's father was George Robertson and her mother was Martha Carlton McGloughlane. Her paternal grandparents were William Robertson and Elspeth Thomson. She had two brothers and eight sisters, named William, John, Martha, Mary, Agnes, Euphemia, Jane, Charlotte, Catherine and Minnie. She was the second oldest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 30 on March 18th, 1857 in St. Quivox.²
