Christina's father was Thomas John Robertson and her mother was Catherine Cameron. Her paternal grandparents were William Robertson and Elspeth Thomson. She had three brothers and three sisters, named John, James, Robert, Margaret, Mary and Ann. She was the third youngest of the seven children. She had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Thomas, William, Elizabeth and Euphemia. She died at the age of 85 in 1929 in Kelvin.
