John McEwan

John's father was John McEwan and his mother was Elspeth Savage. His maternal grandparents were Hugh Savage and Margaret Dickson. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Robert, Hugh, David, Jane, Mary, Maggie, Elspeth and Agnes. He was the fourth youngest of the nine children.
