Hugh McEwan 
Hugh was born in 1877 in Dreghorn.1 Hugh's father was John McEwan and his mother was Elspeth Savage. His maternal grandparents were Hugh Savage and Margaret Dickson. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Robert, John, David, Jane, Mary, Maggie, Elspeth and Agnes. He was the third oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 47 in 1924 in Falkirk.- Death Notes
