Julian (Julia) Johnston

Julian, known as Julia, was born on April 25th, 1808 in Edinburgh and her baptism took place on May 14th, 1808 in St. Cuthbert's parish.¹²

Julia's father was John Johnston and her mother was Isabella Baxter. Her paternal grandparents were John Johnston and Julian Gillis; her maternal grandparents were Ronald Baxter and Isabella Erskine. She had three brothers and five sisters, named John, Robert, Andrew, Betsy, Isabella, Isabella, Betsey and Margaret. She died at the age of 76 in 1884 in Liberton.³
