John Anderson Hunter

John was born in June 1849 in Broxburn and his baptism took place there on June 21st, 1849.¹²

John's father was Andrew Thomson Hunter and his mother was Isabella Anderson. His paternal grandparents were David Hunter and Alison Thomson. He had three brothers and five sisters, named David, Mason, Andrew, Annie, Alice, Jane, Grace and Isabella. He was the fourth oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 42 in 1891 in St. Rollox.
