Mary Baxter 
Mary was born in 1831 in Scotland.1 Mary's father was John Sommers Baxter and her mother was Janet Law. Her paternal grandparents were Ronald Baxter and Isabella Erskine. She had six brothers and two sisters, named John, Ronald, Baxter, Robert, James, Thomas, Isabella and Janet. She was the fifth oldest of the nine children.-
