John Sommers Baxter

John's father was Ronald Baxter and his mother was Isabella Erskine. His paternal grandparents were Douglas Baxter and Margaret Hamilton; his maternal grandparents were John Hasken Erskine and Betty Ogstone. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Andrew, Ronald, Ronald, Robert, Andrew, Isabella, Elisabeth, Margaret, Henrietta and Janet. He died due to a medical problem, Disease of Aorta, at the age of 78 on July 18th, 1873 in Mid Calder.
