Mary Tankersley

Mary was born about 1821. Mary's father was George Tankersley and her mother was Ann Chasteen Chastain. Her paternal grandparents were Richard Tankersley and Mary Hilton. She had three brothers and a sister, named Fountain, Thomas T, John and Margaret. She was the oldest of the five children.
