John Tankersley

John was born in 1830. John's father was George Tankersley and his mother was Ann Chasteen Chastain. His paternal grandparents were Richard Tankersley and Mary Hilton. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Fountain, Thomas T, Mary and Margaret. He was the fourth oldest of the five children.
