Margaret Brown Preston

Margaret Brown was born on February 23rd, 1784 in Smithfield, VA. Margaret Brown's father was Col William Preston and her mother was Susannah Smith. Her paternal grandparents were Col John Preston and Elizabeth Patton; her maternal grandparents were Francis Smith and Elizabeth Waddi. She had five brothers and six sisters, named John, Francis Smith, William, James Patton, Thomas Lewis, Elizabeth, Sarah, Susannah, Mary, Letitia and Ann. She died at the age of 59 on May 4th, 1843.
