Lazarus was born about 1764.  Lazarus' father was Col Alexander TRADER Lowrey and his mother was Mary Waters (Native American).  His paternal grandparents were Lazarus Lowrey and Elizabeth Campbell. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Alexander, David, John, Elizabeth, Mary and Margaret.  He was the fifth oldest of the seven children.  He died in 1813.
