Thomas was born in 1746.  Thomas' father was Hugh Bingham and his mother was Martha Jane Armour.  His paternal grandparents are Richard Bingham and <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents were John Armour and <Unknown>. He had five brothers and four sisters, named John, Robert, Hugh, Samuel, William Bingham Biggam, Elizabeth, Agnes, Jane and Mary.  He was the eighth oldest of the ten children.  He died at the age of 84 in 1830.
