William Mitcheltree Bryant 
William Mitcheltree was born on September 5th, 1835 in Illinois.1 William Mitcheltree's father was Solomon George Bryant and his mother was Nancy H. Mitcheltree. His paternal grandparents were Robert Robertson and Martha Jane Bryant. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Lewis Henry, George Mitcheltree, Alfred Henry, Clara "Clary" Howard, Sarah Jane and Susan M.. He was the second oldest of the seven children. He had six half-brothers and two half-sisters, named James Robertson, Robert Robertson, Alexander Hart Robertson, Claiborne Roberts, John Robertson, Joseph Roberts, Mahala and Martha Jane. He died at the age of 27 on October 23rd, 1862 in Iuka, Mississippi.2 General Notes
