Clara "Clary" Howard Bryant 
Clara "Clary" Howard was born on March 16th, 1834 in Indiana.1 Clara "Clary" Howard's father was Solomon George Bryant and her mother was Nancy H. Mitcheltree. Her paternal grandparents were Robert Robertson and Martha Jane Bryant. She had four brothers and two sisters, named William Mitcheltree, Lewis Henry, George Mitcheltree, Alfred Henry, Sarah Jane and Susan M.. She was the oldest of the seven children. She had six half-brothers and two half-sisters, named James Robertson, Robert Robertson, Alexander Hart Robertson, Claiborne Roberts, John Robertson, Joseph Roberts, Mahala and Martha Jane. She died in "The Wilds of Texas".2 General Notes
