James Robertson Bryant 
James Robertson was born on January 6th, 1816 in Kentucky or Tennessee.1 James Robertson's father was Solomon George Bryant and his mother was Lavinia Roberts. His paternal grandparents were Robert Robertson and Martha Jane Bryant. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Robert Robertson, Alexander Hart Robertson, Claiborne Roberts, John Robertson, Joseph Roberts, Mahala and Martha Jane. He was the second oldest of the eight children. He had four half-brothers and three half-sisters, named William Mitcheltree, Lewis Henry, George Mitcheltree, Alfred Henry, Clara "Clary" Howard, Sarah Jane and Susan M.. He died at the age of 65 on February 18th, 1881 in Martin County, Indiana. He was buried in Reily Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant, Perry Twp., Martin County, Indiana.General Notes
