Martha Jane was born on December 11th, 1862 in Rose Twp, Carroll Co, OH. Martha Jane's father was William Hayes McCreery and her mother was Mary Magdalene Mushrush. Her paternal grandparents were John McCreery and Ianthe Hayes; her maternal grandparents were George Mushrush and Christina Erwin. She had three brothers and four sisters, named Finley, Mathias, George Emmet, Mary Margaret, Nancy E, Emily Alice and Anna Eliza. She was the second oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 102 on January 15th, 1965 in Dover, Tuscarawas Co, OH. She was buried in Evergreen Ce, New Philidelphia, Tuscarawas Co, OH.General Notes
