McCreery vs. McCreery--O. S. 41; N. S. 14--Bill 23d March, 1804. Joseph
Weir deposes in Botetourt at house of James Lockhart, 20th July, 1804,
tha t he was in employ of John McCreery, deceased, in 1796-1797 as store
keeper. John and James McCreary were brothers. Copy of deed, 10th
January, 1797, John McCreery and Hannah, his wife, to James McCreery,
recorded in Botetourt Apri l, 1797.
They had three sons and four daughters, named William, James, John Clark, Mary Jane, Rosana, Elizabeth and Margaret.

James McCreery
James was born on July 21st, 1767 in Botetourt Co, VA. He died at the age of 58 in October 1825 in Rose Twp, Carroll Co, OH.
John Clark McCreery
John Clark was born on July 22nd, 1769 in Botetourt Co, VA. He died at the age of 87 on April 29th, 1857 in Fairfield Twp, Tuscarawas, OH. He was buried in 1857 in Davey Ce, Warren Twp, Tuscarawas, OH.
